The business engineering cycle typically includes the
following phases:
Business Strategy, which is the first business engineering cycle phase
during which the new strategies and and architecture of the
customer organization’s business enterprise are
developed.
Business Optimization, which is the second business engineering cycle phase,
during which the new strategies and architecture of the
customer organization’s business enterprise are placed into
effect and continually optimized.
Cycles and phases can be combined or decomposed depending
on the need for these stages to better map to engagements and
contracts between the various organizations.
