Usage Testing
Usage testing is the
testing of the launched
application in its
production environments during the
usage
phase.
The typical objectives of usage testing are to determine if
the launched application:
- Meets the actual needs of its stakeholders.
- Has any security defects.
-
Operational Testing,
which is the usage testing of the launched application
in its production environment(s) to determine if it meets the
true needs of its stakeholders (primarily its users).
-
Security Testing,
which is the testing of the [launched] application
against its security requirements and the implementation of
its security mechanisms.
