Actor Card Inspection Checklist
- Name. Does the actor card document the actor’s name?
- Is the actor’s name unique and meaningful?
- Is the actor’s name consistent with, and implied by, the associated definition and responsibilities?
- Stereotype. Does the actor card identify the
actor’s stereotype (e.g., human role, database, hardware
device, software application, and external system)?
- Definition. Does the actor card provide a
clear, concise, glossary definition that is consistent with
the name of the actor and its responsibilities?
- Is the actor cohesive?
- If the actor is a human, is it a role played by the
human rather than the actual person or the person’s job description?
- Responsibilities. Does the actor card document the actor’s responsibilities?
- Extertise. If the actor is a human role, does
the actor card summarize the actor’s required level of training or expertise?
- State. If the actor has significant state,
does the actor card summarize the actor’s state model?
